OK I’m a day late this week for my photo challenge. I was struggling to get a grasp on what to take a picture of. I had the chance to take a photo of my dogs fear when we had an EPIC thunderstorm, which she HATES, but she was too scared and needed comfort. So instead I spent my time patting her and watching my backyard flood with the inundation of water
Then I was stuck…what to do…rebeccavoy suggested I find a spider as I have regular visits from my local Huntsman spiders and, as Becca can attest to, I can be quite squealy screamy when I have to deal with them LOL. They don’t hurt you but they are quite large and can be jumpy. So, whilst I can deal with them, I have a huge fear is that they will run up my arm when I’m trying to catch them to put them outside. (I had one run across my hand when I went to the letterbox one day so I know it is a totally freaky feeling.)
Tonight I walked in the door, down the hall, looked up and there she was. I quickly ran to get a glass and caught her. She wasn’t as big as some I’ve gotten in my house, but she’d do
Then I knew I wanted to put her in my lightbox with my iPhone so in she went. Getting her out of the glass took a while and then it was time to wrangle her. She was pretty skittish but did listen when I spoke to her…
“A little to your left, don’t move, stay, smile for the camera…okay *snap* okay no not that way back here, come on, come on, ok now STAY!!!” LOL Oh to have had it on video.

So i took a few shots and then she checked out her reflection in the phone and I knew that was the shot I was after. Then I scooped her up and took her outside. I had finally gotten my Weekly photo and I was very happy
PS Sorry if you are real arachnaphobes.
This is my Final Photo
